South Taranaki Club offers what has to be the best social and indoor sports facilities in Hawera. These include four full size snooker tables, three pool tables, table tennis, darts and indoor bowls. Each of these groups is administered by their own respective `adjunct’ who organise regular tournaments, social events, Club Championships and teams to represent the Club at various inter-Club and outside events. Other sporting adjuncts include outdoor bowls, golf and shooting.
A strong and active adjunct is the `over 60’s’. This group has regular social trips to other Clubs and localities and in return hosts visiting Clubs. For the enthusiast, an excellent and active adjunct.
Another strong and active adjunct is the South Taranaki Tourers. This is an adjunct for the motor cycle enthusiast. They run and organise several rallies, rides etc on a regular basis.
